This is a commercial membrane roof that had terrific ice damming problems. When all of the snow on the several hundred thousand square foot warehouse melted, it ran back down the 3 degree pitch to the rear of the building. Ice would build up in the gutters and several feet up onto the membrane actually lifting the corrugated steel sub-roof.
