Asphalt Retro-fit Driveway

This is a "retrofit" in new poured asphalt installation. Slots are cut into existing or new poured asphalt. The Tuff Cable Low Voltage heating element is sealed in and then a final course of asphalt is applied directly over the top. Inserting the element into a sealed saw-cut slot protects it from being damaged by the hot asphalt and machinery later when he finished course is applied.
You can see the driveway is clear while snow is falling from the start. The design included a water run-off path to the right of the carport.
